01 Booking Confirmation & Mandatory Govt Photo ID

A reservation is considered confirmed only after receipt of the prescribed advance payment. The balance amount must be fully cleared before or at the time of check-in.

A valid, original Government-issued Photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) is mandatory for all adult guests at check-in. DigiLocker digital credentials are accepted.

02 Check-in, Day Check-in & Check-out Timings

• Overnight Stay: Check-in is between 03:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM sharp.
• Day Check-in Facility: Available between 10:30 AM and 08:00 PM (Same Day Only). This daytime room use option does not include an overnight stay. Tariff is fixed and non-negotiable.
• Early Check-in / Late Check-out: Strictly subject to room vacancy and operational feasibility. Additional hourly tariffs may apply.

03 Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

• The booking advance deposit is 100% non-refundable under all circumstances.
• Same-day bookings are strictly non-refundable once confirmed.
• Date change requests are not an automatic entitlement and are subject solely to management discretion. Once a complimentary reschedule has been accommodated, no further adjustments can be made.
• No-Show: Failure to arrive on the reserved date is treated as a guest cancellation with zero refund payable.

04 Room Allocation & Categories

Rooms and suites are allotted based on operational readiness within the booked category. Specific floor or unit numbers cannot be guaranteed in advance unless confirmed in writing by management.

Gauraiyaa features 3 Jacuzzi Studio units, 2 One-BHK units, 2 Two-BHK units, and 2 Dormitory units; guests are allocated any ready unit within their reserved tier.

05 Occupancy & Visitor Regulations

Only guests registered with valid Govt ID at check-in are allowed entry into the suites and homestay premises. Outside visitors and unregistered persons are not permitted inside rooms without prior written permission from management.

06 Extra Guest Charges (+₹500 / Person / Night)

The standard capacities published for our suites (e.g., 2 Persons for Studio, 4 Persons for 2BHK, 8 Persons for 4BHK) represent base tariffs.

Additional guests are welcome and will be charged at ₹500 per person per night, provided the suite's maximum allowable capacity is respected. (Dormitory beds are priced strictly per single bed).

07 Linen Care & Permanent Stain Penalties

Bed linens, towels, and duvets are professionally sanitized and inspected before check-in and upon check-out. Linens damaged by permanent non-washable stains (such as hair dye, makeup, haldi, mehendi, wine, ink, or burn marks) cannot be reused for future guests.

A replacement fee of ₹1,500 per damaged item will be charged to the guest to replace permanently ruined linens.

08 Room Keys & Self-Service Homestay Living

Guests receive physical room keys upon check-in. A ₹500 fee per key applies to cover lock replacement if keys are misplaced or lost.

Gauraiyaa operates as a self-service boutique private homestay offering complete freedom and privacy. Housekeeping is provided upon request during daytime hours.

09 Room Decorations & ₹3,000 Security Deposit

• Room decorations (birthdays, anniversaries, proposals) require prior management consent.
• A refundable Security Deposit of ₹3,000 is mandatory before any decoration setup commences, refunded at check-out following a clean room inspection.
• Strictly Prohibited: Double-sided tape, adhesive glue, cello tape, nails, push pins, stickers, wall hooks, party poppers, confetti, and wet flower petals on painted walls or ceilings.
• Third-party decorators are independent service providers; Gauraiyaa is not liable for their service delivery.

10 Wedding & Marriage Event Bookings

Bookings intended for wedding groups, baraat stays, or large family gatherings require a mandatory refundable Security Deposit of ₹10,000 before check-in. All standard property rules (zero wall damage, quiet hours after 10 PM) strictly apply.

11 Jacuzzi Usage — Strict "Pure Water" Policy

Guests must take a clean freshwater shower before entering the Jacuzzi.

STRICT PROHIBITION: Do NOT put flower petals, rose leaves, bath bombs, essential oils, body wash, milk, wine, food, colors, or chemicals into the Jacuzzi.

Why? The Jacuzzi circulates water via high-pressure hydro-jets. Organic petals, bath oils, and soaps are sucked into the motor filter, causing instant jet clogging, pump burnout, and water contamination.

Glassware is strictly prohibited around the tub. Children must be closely supervised by adult guardians at all times.

12 Peaceful Living, Smoking & House Rules

• Quiet Hours: Observed between 10:00 PM and 07:00 AM. Please maintain peaceful noise levels so neighboring guests and families rest undisturbed.
• Smoking Policy: Strictly prohibited inside all suites and bedrooms. Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor balconies/terraces. A ₹2,000 deep-cleaning fee applies for indoor smoking violations.
• Prohibited Activities: Narcotics, commercial sex work, gambling, weapons, and unlawful acts are strictly prohibited. Violations result in immediate eviction without refund and reporting to local authorities.
• Pets: Allowed only with prior written management confirmation in designated pet-friendly units.

13 Power Backup Facility (63 KVA Generator)

Gauraiyaa is equipped with a heavy-duty 63 KVA silent generator to ensure continuous comfort during municipal power cuts in Dehradun, automatically backing up lighting, fans, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning units.

14 Vehicle Parking Facility

Free on-site and adjacent parking spaces are provided for guest vehicles. All vehicles are parked strictly at the owner's risk; management is not liable for vehicle contents or accidental damage.

15 Management Rights & Right of Admission

Management reserves absolute right of admission. Management retains the right to terminate any reservation immediately without refund in situations involving severe misconduct, abuse of staff, or endangerment of other guests.

16 & 17 Legal Jurisdiction & Full Acceptance

Jurisdiction: Any legal disputes or claims arising out of bookings or stays shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent Courts at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Acceptance of Terms: Payment of any advance booking deposit or the act of checking in constitutes full, informed, and unconditional acceptance of all 17 stay clauses detailed on this page.
